I was shivering, my hands were club-like, and the wind attacked the tip of my nose. Bundled in layers, I watch the storm clouds break over the Eastern Sierra. Their dance was like a curtain rising and falling over the range of light. Hoping the sun would come soon, I did a boot dance. As the warming sun crested the White Mountains to the west, the Sabrina Basin glowed red.
