Palm trees are the symbol of relaxation, of surfing, or kicking your feet up on a white sandy beach while sipping a mai tai. It does not matter if you are in Southern California, or a remote island in the British Virgin Islands, if you can see palm trees stretching upwards at the sky, there are no bad days.

This image was photographed in Huntington, CA near a famous surf beach called the wedge. If you ever have the ability to watch this unique wave bounce off the man-made wall and form a perfect a-frame wedge on a large south swell, you are in for a treat! Hint, get there in the summer, that will be your best chance at watching the carnage.
