Lake Tahoe, California is a desirable destination not only for its adventures ranging from world-class skiing to mountain biking to climbing, but it is also a dream for those who love crystal, blue water. Growing up only an hour away from Lake Tahoe, most of my childhood was spent wandering around the woods. There is one space that is hard for me to forget, Emerald Bay. Maybe its because my parents were married here, maybe it is the childhood connection, maybe it is something else, all I know is in creating this image I did not sleep. Throughout the night I wandered finding my angle. Climbing cliffs in the dark and scrambling over downed trees, I was seeking a clear view. As 1:00 am turned into 4:00 am, I had found my spot. Waiting another hour and a half, I clicked the shutter, and here is your result.
